Ellen Epstein is the proud Owner of Bow Wow Meow, an award-winning Pet Care company. She specializes in helping new puppy owners learn the best ways to welcome their new arrival and gives them tips to help them rear their new best friends so they can become part of the Bow Wow Meow daily walks!
She moved to Alexandria in 2006 from NYC to follow her passion for pets after a career in Advertising & Design, and has made tons of friends (both furry and non-furry) who depend on her and the team to make their lives happy and healthy.
Ellen lives in Del Ray with her Sheepadoodle, Malala (LaLa), and her rescue cat, Meow Meow. Almost everyone she knows has dogs or cats, but aren't the best people Pet People?
Ellen supports many charitable organizations including the Alexandria Animal Welfare League, the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, The US Humane Society, Best Friends Animal Rescue and the ASPCA. For fun she writes a monthly dog-related column for the Zebra Newspaper!

Gina Annino is a NY native who we all know from her hard work at Executive Lock & Key.
Her passion for animals and her great personality led her to Bow Wow Meow, which keeps her very busy walking dogs and sitting for kitties.

Cheryl Cirenza is the mother of seven children and has extensive experience caring for kids and dogs!
She loves animals and enjoys going to work because "Her" dogs put a smile on her face every day! Walking them gives Cheryl a chance to enjoy their wonderful personalities, be outdoors, and it forces her to exercise!

Miriam Gennari is our eco-walker. A strong believer in sustainability, most days Miriam bikes her daily route. She carries a reusable water bottle and a supply of previously used plastic bags for poop bags.
She loves nature and wildlife and enjoys hanging out with humans best friends.
Cat Sitter
Ginny Richards
A longtime resident of Del Ray, you can see Ginny volunteering at the Del Ray Farmer's Market on Saturdays and walking her dog Banjo around town. She is our cat specialist and loves to play with the kitties on her visits.

Carolyn Cornish has worked for Bow Wow Meow the longest of anyone (except for Ellen), and truly loves her furry friends.
She has been taking great care of an elderly dog, Luna, whose owner has been stuck out of the country since COVID began. Now she specializes in cat care for us.

Kerstin Arz is a native of Germany, now living and working in Del Ray taking care of both children and dogs.
She loves all her fur-babies and is learning how to speak puppy talk in English from them!
PET SITTER
Brenda Martinez is a consummate dog lover and professional pet sitter. Her day job is working at VCA Animal Hospital in Old Town where she is a vet tech-in-training and she is always happy to pet sit overnight in our clients' homes with their fur-babies.
